Fuel Cell Vehicles:
Vehicles that operate on energy created when hydrogen reacts with oxygen without the use of a battery. No harmful emissions are created in this process. Fuel cell vehicles are currently in the prototype stage of development.

· Ford's Fuel Cell Vehicles are in the prototype stage, but are being used in fleets (such as the postal service). Ford has several different prototypes out, using both hydrogen and methanol as the fuel. They also have a fuel cell electric hybrid.
